The Lavender House - Rebuild.
The Lavender House - This is house is The Real Good Toy New Orleans house kit which is now discontinued. I bought the kit eBay. I started working on this kit in 2016. It was the second miniature I done I had no idea what I was doing but I wanted the house to be monochromatic purple. I thought that it would be fun. Originally I completed the house in 2018 however, I was not happy with the second floor and I was trying yo understand how to electrify the house. In late 2018 I stubbled across Jodi' Blog - "My Miniature Madness" and my second floor just had to have a make over! "Confession I borrow the entire house layout."
I took the entire house apart and rebuilt the house. below are some picture of the new layout with the second floor raised 3". I could not find pictures of the first build but, below is a picture of the kit built by RGT. In my next post I will show the before and after pictures. thanks for stopping by.
Evette you did such a great job remodeling this house to make it more functional and beautiful! I am so glad you shared your progress with me along the way and so proud of you for starting a blog about your accomplishment!
